Currently we are looking for an experienced individual to join us as a Key Account Manager Value Added Partner. We’re looking for someone with sales and project management experience, who can create and implement action programs for and with the key-accounts, to improve our performance at Signify. Whilst driving the performance of the functions in the key account teams.

This person will be based in Cluj Napoca city - Romania, covering Transilvania and Banat areas.

Together we can…
  • Develops, maintains and improves relations with a limited number of key-accounts, to keep or to set Signify as the preferred supplier, by developing lighting solutions and other services creating value for the customer.
  • Take the lead in the acquisition of new strategic accounts.
  • Creates an account plan for each key-account, for 2 years in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group.
  • Initiates and coordinates all Signify efforts to the accounts, to maximize the output of the sales group.
  • Inspire customers and proactively go beyond their expectations, find new business models and way of working with customers by this challenging the internal organization and the conventional approach.
  • Be responsible for direct accountability for Sales, Margin, Customer Profitability and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Systematically analyzes and report sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends to make proposals for improvement.

You are…

Open minded, curious and innovative and aligned with our company values and aims and you bring the following experiences and competencies:
  • Graduate with Bachelor or master degree.
  • Fluent English (both orally and in writing) is obligatory.
  • 5+ years proven experience of sales management or account management, business development in B2B segment in international environment, including risk and project experience.
  • 5+ years of value-based selling in a market/customer facing role in direct business development.
  • Ability to carry out negotiations on CEO-1/CEO-2 level.
  • Understands financial implications of a solution for the customer and can demonstrate the financial outcomes for the investing party.
  • Experience in LIGHTING Industry is a big advantage.
  • Located in CLUJ NAPOCA – home office.
  • Present in local Industrial Market: References from Industry (factories) and Office areas is a big advantage.
